Seesaw is a digital student portfolio used by Kōwhai and Tōtara teams.  It gives students an audience for their work! It gives families a window into what's going on every day in their child's classroom.

Students add posts to their journals. Student posts showcase the creative projects they've been working on in the classroom. This could include photos, artwork, videos, activities, notes, projects they've created in other apps, and more.

Families get notified when there are new posts in their student's journal. They can view posts and add likes and comments.

To get started:

Download the Seesaw Family App on iOS or Google Play.  Seesaw can be downloaded onto any phone or tablet.  Seesaw can also be accessed through your web browser: https://app.seesaw.me/#/login and selecting “I am a Family Member”.

You will be required to set up a log in using a valid email address. You will be able to access your child’s journal using the QR code that is sent out to students at the beginning of the year.  If you do not have your QR code, please contact your child’s teacher.

Learning from Home via Seesaw:

Students can use Seesaw at home during online learning.

You will need to download the Seesaw Class App (this is different to the app that you use as a family member) on iOS or Google Play  Seesaw Class App can also be accessed through your web browser by going to https://app.seesaw.me/#/login and selecting “I am a Student”.

Your child will then be able to log in using the code given by the classroom teacher.  If you do not have the code to log in, please contact your child’s teacher.
