Hamilton East School was opened in 1872. It is the oldest school in Hamilton on it's original site. The school is part of the Hamiton East Heritage Trail and several classrooms are historic building. Although our school buildings are old, they are in excellent condition and completely up-graded to meet the needs of the children's learning in the 21st Century.
